The Force Urbania, explained simply
The Force Urbania is a single chassis manufactured by Force Motors, available in seating configurations from 9 to 17 passengers. Every Urbania on Kerala’s roads is built on the same Mercedes-derived platform. The difference between variants is how many seats are installed, and what features are added inside.
We chose to build our top tiers around two ideas: fewer seats (so each passenger gets meaningfully more space) and premium seat technology (massage seats, ventilated seats, and proper recliners — not just upgraded upholstery).
The math of real space
The Force Urbania cabin is roughly the same internal volume regardless of variant. Reduce the seat count, and every remaining passenger gets meaningfully more room:

The extra space goes back to legroom (knees do not touch the seat in front), seat width, aisle space, overhead room, and luggage space.
Why we believe real luxury has 10 seats
Real luxury, to us, means a passenger can stretch out, recline, breathe, and arrive feeling rested. That requires space. And the only way to give every passenger more space inside an Urbania is to install fewer seats.
That is why our Luxury and Ultra Luxury Urbanias have only 10 seats in a chassis built for more. On long routes like Kochi to Munnar or Sabarimala pilgrimages, that extra space is the entire point of the trip.
We do not call our 12 or 16-seaters “luxury” because they are not — they are honestly named for what they are: comfortable mid-size and capacity vehicles.

Is the Force Urbania chassis really the same across variants?
Yes. Force Motors builds the Urbania platform once. Operators choose how many seats to install in the same cabin.
Why do you offer fewer-seat variants?
Because fewer seats means more space for every passenger. On long routes (Munnar, Wayanad, Sabarimala), the extra legroom is the entire point of upgrading to a Luxury Urbania.
What makes the Ultra Luxury 10-Seater different from the Luxury 10-Seater?
Both have 10 seats and the same legroom advantage. The Ultra Luxury (₹11,000/day) adds massage seats, ventilated seats, top-tier interior trim, and premium amenities. The Luxury (₹9,000/day) has the same 10-seat space advantage but with our standard premium trim — no massage or ventilated seats.
Does the 12-seater also have more legroom than a 16-seater?
Yes. 4 fewer seats in the same cabin means notably more space per passenger. The 12-seater is our honest mid-size pick — comfortable but not “luxury.”
Are the 16-seater Premium and Normal variants the same chassis?
Yes — both are 16-seat Force Urbanias on the same platform. The Premium has upgraded interior trim and a few more features. The Normal is our standard 16-seater with a clean, functional interior.
